  8. When  selected from the main menu, the "RECORD DIVIDEND INCOME" option 
  9. allows  you  to  maintain  a running account of income received in the 
  10. form of dividends from investments in your securities portfolios.
  11.  
  12. After  you  select  this  option,  the "RECORD DIVIDEND INCOME FROM ?" 
  13. menu  screen  appears  listing  all securities in your data base.  You 
  14. will select the security from which the dividend income was derived.
  15.  
  16. If  the security you have selected resides in more than one portfolio, 
  17. a  second  menu  listing  the  portfolios  which  contain the selected 
  18. security  will  be  displayed.  Select the appropriate portfolio using 
  19. the cursor keys as with other menus.

  21. After  you have selected the security and portfolio (if necessary),  a 
  22. data  entry screen will appear and you will be requested to  enter the
  23. information as shown Table 6-1.

  34. Maintenance  of  dividends  received using this option is important as
  35. it  gives  the  program  the data necessary to compute dividend income
  36. for tax reporting purposes.
